Oven Pot Roast

Oven Pot Roast

4 - 5 lbs. beef roast
10 oz can cream of mushroom soup
1 envelope dry onion soup
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup water
1 cup apple juice
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Place meat in roaster. Mix remaining ingredients in bowl. Pour over
meat. Cover.

Bake at 325° for 3 hours.

Add potatoes and carrots 1 hour before roast is done.

Serves 6
